 Large size Civil War Era trunk.
We picked up a pair of these larger size Civil War Era trunks and this is the first one we have finished. This trunk has its original double lock set that is still in working condition. The deep, rich red color of the wood is the result of aging for over 150 years, impossible to duplicate with stain or any other method.
We have taken great care in finishing this trunk. We have put our tough, durable finish on the outside and have completely sealed and relined the interior. This fine example of an antique trunk is ready for use in your home as a coffee table or perhaps to store some of your very large blankets.
