This is quite a rare and unusual trunk with an embossed zinc covering. The square pattern is also quite special if not unique. This is a trunk with a very slight dome and it retains the original side turn latches as well as the original working lock with key.
The is a nice sized trunk and you could find many uses for it in your home or office. We have cleaned and restored the interior and have refinished and seald the outside of this trunk. It's ready, now, for another 150 years of use.
