|  Louis Vuitton Wardrobe Trunk .
This is a very fine Louis Vuitton wardrobe trunk made in the 1920s. It's a real classic and has all of its original hardware intact. It has the original leather handle on top and also retains the original working solid brass lock (keys available from LV) and double latches. The four original LV clothes hangers are on the left hand side of the trunk. On the right side are several compartments including one drawer, one drop down covered compartment, an one pull out, snap closing compartment
Overall this trunk is in fine condition. Of course it has been around the world a few times and has some wear and character to show for it but this in no way detracts from the integrity of this trunk. All of the canvas is bright and crisp and shows the monogram design very well. The hardwood slats are in great condition as are all of the brass buttons which cover the trunk.
This trunk has the original owner's monogram "MHH" on the top and bottom as well as the original yellow identifying horizontal stripe.
We have done very little to restore this fine trunk as it was in extremely good condition. You could use this trunk as a great coffee table or perhaps take it with you on your next sea voyage.
