|  Doll Trunk or Salesmans Sample.
This is a
nice early smalll sized trunk that was either a salesman's sample trunk or a doll trunk. We are leaning more toward the salesman's sample because of the small scale lock which was not often seen on a doll trunk.
This trunk is in sound physical condition and retains a good deal of the alligator embossed paper covering as well as the Victorian graphic on the inner lid. It's missing the original tray and leather handles.
