 Early Louis Vuitton Trunk.
This is a nice example of Louis Vuitton's work around the turn of the century. This trunk was made with a lot of wrought iron instead of brass, including the lock, latches, and handles. However, it has the Louis Vuitton embossed brass buttons which give the trunk a distinctive look.
This trunk is in the fresh-out-of-the-attic condition with all of the cobwebs and peeling paper well presented. Physically, it is in very good condition. There are remnants of the original monogram canvas as well as a complete LV label with serial number.
It would make a great coffee table. Size: 40"W x 20"H x 20"D
