Original Artwork Book.
This is an
incredible find. It is an original artwork by New Youk illustrator
Carleton F. McCutcheon. The book is painted in gauche and watercolors
and was designed for Trautmann, Bailey, and Blampey which we believe
was a large building supply company.
The details
are exquisite and plentiful. The original story was written by
George W. Davey. The whole thing was probably put together in
the 1930s. The book was originally sewn together and has come
loose. Overall the book is in very good condition. It has a sort
of Arthurian feeling with Illuminated margins and the Prince Valiant
type character.
