Frank McCutcheon was a New York based artist working in the 1930s
through the 1950s. He illustrated books and magazines and also
designed patriotic posters during WWII. This scene was probably
painted on Long Island New York. Signed C.F. McCutcheon and dated
1951 LR. Needs a new matt and frame.
